ENO modernizes logistics center

Further automation and simplified API connection create double shipping capacity with maximum flexibility for ENO customers and fulfillment partners
Nordhorn, 13.08.2025 -ENO has completed the comprehensive renovation of its logistics center on schedule. With modernized workstations, automated conveyor technology and a completely renewed outgoing goods department, the company has created the basis for significantly increased shipping capacity – especially for seasonal peak phases such as Black Week or the Christmas business.
Investment in logistics automation
The focus of the modernization was the introduction of automated conveyor technology and a completely renewed outgoing goods department. The new technology significantly speeds up material flows in the warehouse and reduces unnecessary travel times. In conjunction with the clearly structured logistics architecture, ENO is now able to almost double the number of daily shipments. In addition to the planned growth, this reserve is needed for the increasingly narrow time windows between order receipt and delivery, as well as for peak breakers.
A newly created buffer area also ensures reliable processing in the event of strongly fluctuating volumes – whether during peak times or for project-related fulfillment requirements. Orders can be delivered without delays even during short-term volume peaks.
Ergonomic workstations and improved routing
ENO also attached great importance to the ergonomic design of the workstations: Height-adjustable packing tables, vacuum lifters to relieve the physical strain on employees and optimized lighting conditions noticeably improve the working environment.
“With the conversion, we are taking our logistics processes to a new level – faster, more flexible and more efficient,” says Peter Horstmann, Managing Director of ENO telecom GmbH. “This investment directly benefits our future viability and gives us a real advantage, especially during peak periods such as Black Week.”
Fulfillment with API connection and additional services
In addition to the increase in in-house services, ENO is also increasingly offering its logistics services to external partners. The spectrum ranges from procurement, storage and individual shipping with customer-specific delivery bills to returns management, refurbishment, repair, goods insurance and customs clearance – including the shipping of FSK 18 products.
Thanks to open interfaces (API), customer processes can be connected directly – from incoming orders and outgoing goods to automated feedback on the shipping status (tracking). In this way, small and medium-sized fulfillment service volumes can be implemented particularly efficiently and cost-optimized without having to go through lengthy and complicated project phases. ENO works with the customer to develop individual, tailor-made solutions.
Additional services such as spare parts logistics, grading, refurbishment, repair and remarketing are offered jointly with ESC International GmbH, ENO’s sister company.
